World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA)

Meaning

An international independent agency responsible for promoting, coordinating, and monitoring the global fight against doping in sport, upholding the integrity of competition. WADA sets the international standard for anti-doping regulations, including the Prohibited List of substances, many of which are hormones or peptides relevant to the wellness space. Compliance with the comprehensive WADA codes is mandatory for all Olympic sports and many other international athletic organizations.
