Work Cycle Synchronization

Meaning

The clinical practice of aligning an individual’s demanding professional or physical activities with their intrinsic biological rhythms, such as the circadian and ultradian cycles, to maximize sustained productivity and minimize allostatic load. This synchronization strategy aims to schedule peak cognitive and physical tasks during periods of naturally elevated performance and to incorporate restorative breaks during periods of natural decline. The goal is to optimize energy utilization and hormonal balance over the working day.
