Vitality Span Extension

Meaning

The clinical and biological goal of extending the number of years an individual lives in a state of high functional capacity, excellent health, and robust energy, essentially lengthening the period of peak vitality within the total lifespan. This is distinct from merely extending chronological lifespan, which may include years spent in poor health or with significant functional impairment. Extension strategies are centered on preventative medicine, hormonal optimization, and the management of the molecular hallmarks of aging to preserve quality of life.
