Unregulated Pharmaceuticals

Meaning

Medicinal products, including hormones, peptides, and other active pharmaceutical ingredients, that are manufactured, distributed, or sold without the oversight, testing, and approval of a national regulatory body, such as the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). These substances pose significant health risks due to unknown purity, inconsistent dosage, potential contamination, and lack of proven efficacy or safety data. Their use bypasses the essential safeguards of legitimate pharmaceutical supply chains.
