TRT Recovery

Meaning

TRT Recovery refers to the physiological process of restoring the body’s natural endogenous testosterone production following the discontinuation of exogenous testosterone replacement therapy. This process aims to reactivate the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal (HPG) axis, which becomes suppressed during TRT due to negative feedback. The goal is to regain testicular function and adequate Leydig cell activity to synthesize testosterone independently.
