TRT Adjunct Therapy

Meaning

TRT Adjunct Therapy refers to the strategic use of supplementary pharmacological agents or specific non-testosterone interventions administered concurrently with primary Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT). The clinical purpose of these secondary agents is to significantly optimize the overall efficacy of the treatment regimen or, more commonly, to actively mitigate the potential, predictable side effects associated with exogenous testosterone administration. These are supportive treatments, not the primary hormonal replacement itself.
