Thermoregulatory Conditioning

Meaning

Thermoregulatory Conditioning is the deliberate, controlled exposure of the body to acute temperature stressors, such as heat or cold, to enhance the physiological mechanisms responsible for maintaining core body temperature and to elicit beneficial hormonal responses.
