Therapeutic Resilience

Meaning

Therapeutic Resilience describes an individual’s intrinsic biological and psychological capacity to respond positively to a prescribed hormonal or metabolic intervention and to stably maintain those clinical gains over an extended period, even when exposed to subsequent physiological or psychological stressors. High resilience suggests a robust, stable physiological adaptation to the therapy, whereas low resilience indicates a rapid loss of therapeutic benefit and a swift return to a state of hormonal dysregulation upon stress exposure or treatment cessation. It is a key prognostic indicator of long-term wellness success.
