Therapeutic Receptivity

Meaning

Therapeutic Receptivity is a clinical concept describing the degree to which an individual’s biological system is prepared and able to respond optimally to a specific therapeutic intervention, whether it is a pharmaceutical agent, a nutrient, or a lifestyle change. High receptivity is characterized by responsive cellular receptors, efficient metabolic pathways, and a low level of chronic inflammation or systemic resistance. It is a critical determinant of treatment success.
