Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA)

Meaning

The Therapeutic Goods Administration, or TGA, is the regulatory body in Australia responsible for safeguarding the health and safety of the community by regulating the quality, safety, and efficacy of therapeutic goods. This includes prescription medicines, vaccines, medical devices, and a broad range of complementary medicines, many of which are relevant to the hormonal health and wellness space. TGA approval or listing is mandatory for all products legally supplied in Australia.
