Testosterone Restoration

Meaning

Testosterone Restoration is a specific clinical strategy designed to elevate and normalize a man’s suppressed or diminished endogenous testosterone production, often following exogenous steroid use or as a treatment for secondary hypogonadism. Unlike Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT), which administers external hormone, restoration actively stimulates the body’s natural synthesis pathways. The goal is to return the Hypothalamic-Pituitary-Gonadal (HPG) axis to a state of self-sufficiency and optimal, sustained function without reliance on lifelong external administration.
