Testicular Recovery Protocol

Meaning

A Testicular Recovery Protocol is a clinical strategy designed to restore or enhance endogenous testosterone production and spermatogenesis in men whose testicular function has been suppressed, most commonly due to the use of exogenous anabolic-androgenic steroids (AAS) or certain testosterone replacement therapies (TRT). The protocol involves the cessation of the suppressive agent and the strategic use of pharmaceutical agents to stimulate the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal (HPG) axis. The primary objective is to safely and efficiently reinstate the body’s natural hormonal signaling cascade.
