Systemic Signaling Fidelity

Meaning

The clinical measure of the accuracy, clarity, and efficiency with which hormonal and cellular communication signals are transmitted, received, and acted upon across the body’s entire network of tissues and organs. High fidelity indicates that a hormone’s message is delivered without distortion, ensuring a robust and appropriate physiological response at the target cell level. Loss of fidelity, often due to receptor desensitization or chronic inflammation, is a major contributor to age-related decline and endocrine resistance.
