Systemic Shock Protocol

Meaning

A clinical term describing a structured, rapid-response set of medical procedures and interventions implemented to stabilize a patient experiencing a state of systemic shock, a life-threatening condition characterized by insufficient tissue perfusion and oxygen delivery. While the term is primarily used in acute care, in the context of wellness, it can metaphorically refer to aggressive, short-term interventions designed to rapidly correct severe, acute physiological dysregulation. This includes restoring fluid balance, correcting electrolyte abnormalities, and stabilizing vital hormonal axes.
