Systemic Physiological Balance

Meaning

Systemic physiological balance, often referred to as homeostasis, is the essential biological state where all of the body’s interconnected organ systems, including the endocrine, cardiovascular, and metabolic systems, are operating within their optimal, self-regulated parameters. This dynamic equilibrium is constantly maintained through complex feedback loops and regulatory mechanisms to ensure cellular and organismal survival and function. Disturbances in this balance, such as hormonal dysregulation or metabolic stress, are the underlying cause of many chronic health conditions.
