Systemic Inflammation Metrics

Meaning

Systemic Inflammation Metrics are quantifiable laboratory markers used to assess the level of chronic, low-grade inflammatory burden present throughout the entire organism, independent of acute infection. Elevated metrics, such as high-sensitivity C-Reactive Protein or specific cytokine profiles, are strong indicators of metabolic dysfunction and accelerated aging processes. Persistent systemic inflammation negatively impacts nearly every endocrine axis. We must quantify this burden to manage it effectively.
