Systemic Deoptimization

Meaning

Systemic Deoptimization refers to the gradual, measurable decline in the efficiency, responsiveness, and coordinated function of multiple interconnected biological systems, particularly the endocrine, metabolic, and immune networks. This state is characterized by subtle but widespread functional impairment, such as chronic low-grade inflammation, impaired hormone receptor sensitivity, and reduced metabolic flexibility. It represents a state of sub-clinical dysfunction that precedes the manifestation of overt age-related disease.
