Systemic Baseline

Meaning

The Systemic Baseline refers to the stable, resting equilibrium state of all major physiological parameters, including core body temperature, resting heart rate, blood pressure, and circulating hormone concentrations. This baseline represents the body’s default, energy-efficient mode of operation when not under acute stress or engaged in demanding activity. A healthy, robust systemic baseline is indicative of optimal allostatic capacity and low allostatic load.
