Supraphysiologic Function

Meaning

A state of biological function or performance that exceeds the typical, statistically defined range considered normal or homeostatic for a given individual or population, achieved through targeted and controlled clinical intervention. In the context of hormonal health, this refers to maintaining hormone levels or metabolic efficiency at the upper end of, or slightly above, the youthful, optimal physiological range to enhance vitality and performance. This is distinct from pharmacological abuse.
