Structural and Chemical Harmony

Meaning

Structural and Chemical Harmony describes the ideal state of a built environment where the physical structure and the chemical composition of its materials are intentionally designed and maintained to be non-toxic and supportive of human physiological function. In hormonal health, this means creating spaces free from materials that off-gas endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs) or volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Achieving this harmony is a proactive strategy for minimizing environmental health risks.
