Stress Resilience Biofeedback

Meaning

A clinical and behavioral technique utilizing real-time monitoring of physiological stress markers, such as heart rate variability (HRV), skin conductance, or muscle tension, to train an individual to consciously regulate their autonomic nervous system response. Resilience biofeedback specifically aims to enhance the individual’s capacity to rapidly return to a state of parasympathetic dominance following a stressor. This practice is a powerful tool for modulating the HPA axis and improving hormonal stress adaptation.
