Standard Blood Work Analysis

Meaning

Standard blood work analysis is the routine clinical laboratory evaluation of a patient’s peripheral blood, encompassing the Complete Blood Count (CBC) and the Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP), alongside basic lipid and thyroid profiles. This foundational assessment provides essential, quantitative data on hematological status, electrolyte balance, kidney and liver function, and general metabolic markers like glucose and cholesterol. While not exhaustive for advanced longevity assessment, it serves as the necessary clinical foundation for identifying overt pathology and establishing a basic health baseline.
