Sleep Architecture Recalibration

Meaning

Sleep architecture recalibration is the process of therapeutically restoring the normal, healthy sequence and duration of the different stages of sleep, including non-rapid eye movement (NREM) and rapid eye movement (REM) phases. Disruption of this architecture, often due to hormonal imbalances or chronic stress, can severely impair restorative functions, memory consolidation, and metabolic regulation. Clinical interventions, including chronotherapy and targeted hormonal support, aim to re-establish this critical physiological structure for optimal health.
