SF-36 Health Survey

Meaning

The SF-36 Health Survey, or Short Form-36, is a widely validated, multi-purpose, patient-reported outcome measure used clinically to assess the quality of life across eight critical health domains. These domains include physical functioning, role limitations due to physical and emotional problems, bodily pain, general health, vitality, social functioning, and mental health. In the hormonal health and wellness space, the SF-36 serves as an essential tool to objectively quantify the subjective impact of hormonal imbalances or therapeutic interventions on a patient’s daily life and overall well-being.
