Sermorelin Side Effects

Meaning

Sermorelin side effects refer to the spectrum of unintended or adverse physiological reactions that may occur following the therapeutic administration of Sermorelin, a synthetic peptide analog of Growth Hormone-Releasing Hormone (GHRH). Sermorelin’s primary clinical use is to stimulate the pulsatile release of endogenous growth hormone (GH) from the pituitary gland. The most commonly reported side effects are localized reactions at the injection site, such as pain, redness, or swelling, due to the subcutaneous administration route. Systemic side effects, though generally mild and infrequent, can include transient facial flushing, headache, or dizziness, which are typically related to the rapid hormonal surge following injection. Clinicians must thoroughly review a patient’s history to mitigate the potential for these reactions.
