Self-Awareness Biomechanics

Meaning

The clinical practice of training an individual to accurately perceive, interpret, and proactively respond to subtle, non-conscious physiological signals emanating from their own body, such as subtle shifts in heart rate variability, interoceptive cues, and subclinical fatigue. This biomechanics refers to the learned capacity to use internal sensory data to precisely regulate behavior and optimize the body’s homeostatic systems. It bridges the subjective experience with objective physiology.
