Reversible Hypogonadism

Meaning

Reversible hypogonadism denotes a clinical condition where the gonads, either testes or ovaries, exhibit diminished function in producing sex hormones, but this impairment is temporary and capable of restoration. Unlike permanent forms of hypogonadism, this state implies that the underlying cause can be identified and corrected, leading to a return of normal hormonal function and reproductive capacity.
