Resilience Metrics

Meaning

Resilience Metrics are a set of quantifiable biological, physiological, and psychological indicators used in clinical practice to objectively measure an individual’s capacity to adapt to, withstand, and recover from various forms of stress or perturbation. These metrics move beyond single-point measurements to assess dynamic functional reserve and the efficiency of regulatory systems. Key metrics often include Heart Rate Variability (HRV), cortisol awakening response, and inflammatory markers, providing a composite picture of systemic robustness.
