Resilience Factor Upregulation

Meaning

The process of increasing the cellular or systemic expression and activity of protective mechanisms that enhance the body’s ability to withstand and recover from physiological stressors, such as inflammation, oxidative load, or catabolic challenges. This upregulation often involves boosting cellular repair enzymes, enhancing antioxidant defenses, or stabilizing mitochondrial function. It represents an adaptive enhancement of intrinsic defense systems.
