Reproductive Justice

Meaning

Reproductive Justice is a conceptual framework and social movement that advocates for the human right to maintain personal bodily autonomy, have children, not have children, and parent the children one has in safe and sustainable communities. In the hormonal health space, this concept highlights the systemic barriers and health inequities that prevent certain populations from accessing essential endocrine care, fertility treatments, and family planning resources. It is a lens through which we evaluate the fairness and accessibility of all reproductive and hormonal health services. This framework seeks to dismantle health disparities.
