Reproductive Dysfunction

Meaning

Reproductive dysfunction is a broad clinical term encompassing any impairment in the normal physiological processes necessary for successful sexual function, gamete production, or conception in either males or females. This includes conditions such as erectile dysfunction, oligo- or azoospermia, anovulation, and recurrent pregnancy loss, all of which are frequently rooted in or exacerbated by underlying endocrine imbalances. A thorough clinical investigation is required to identify the specific hormonal or structural etiology of the impairment.
