Red Light Therapy

Meaning

Red Light Therapy (RLT), also known as photobiomodulation (PBM) or low-level light therapy (LLLT), involves exposing biological tissues to specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light. These wavelengths typically range from 600 to 900 nanometers. This non-invasive modality aims to elicit therapeutic effects at a cellular level, distinct from thermal light applications.
