Recovery Signaling Integrity is the measure of the body’s capacity to accurately initiate, propagate, and terminate the biochemical and hormonal signals necessary for systemic repair and adaptation following a physiological challenge. This integrity is determined by the sensitivity of hormone receptors and the efficiency of downstream signaling pathways that drive anabolism, such as the mTOR pathway.
