Raw Material Testing

Meaning

The mandatory quality assurance procedure involving the comprehensive analytical evaluation of every starting substance, or raw material, before its use in the production of a finished pharmaceutical or compounded hormone preparation. This testing rigorously verifies the material’s identity, concentration, purity, and freedom from contaminants, such as heavy metals or microbes. Raw Material Testing is a non-negotiable component of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) to ensure the final product’s safety and consistent therapeutic efficacy.
