QoL-AGHDA

Meaning

QoL-AGHDA is an acronym for the Quality of Life-Assessment of Growth Hormone Deficiency in Adults, a validated, disease-specific questionnaire used in clinical endocrinology to assess the subjective well-being and health-related quality of life in patients diagnosed with Adult Growth Hormone Deficiency (AGHD). The instrument quantifies symptoms such as fatigue, poor memory, anxiety, and social isolation, which are commonly associated with the condition. Clinicians use the QoL-AGHDA score not only for initial diagnosis and severity assessment but also as a primary endpoint to monitor the efficacy of Growth Hormone Replacement Therapy (GHRT).
