Procrastination Intervention

Meaning

A targeted, structured strategy or technique implemented to overcome the common behavioral pattern of voluntarily delaying the initiation or completion of a necessary task, despite knowing the negative consequences. Interventions are designed to address the underlying neurobiological and emotional drivers of procrastination, such as task aversion or poor self-regulation. The primary goal is to facilitate immediate and sustained task engagement by reducing the psychological barrier to starting.
