Proactive Intervention

Meaning

Proactive intervention refers to the implementation of a specific, targeted clinical or lifestyle action designed to prevent the onset or progression of a known health risk or sub-optimal physiological state. Unlike treatment, which addresses existing pathology, intervention seeks to preemptively correct underlying imbalances, such as hormonal deficiencies or metabolic dysfunction. This approach is central to maintaining healthspan and reducing the incidence of age-related disease.
