It involves marked affective lability, irritability, dysphoria, and anxiety, alongside physical symptoms, significantly impairing daily function. Symptoms consistently emerge one to two weeks before menses and resolve shortly after menstrual flow begins, exhibiting distinct cyclical recurrence.
