Pre-Sleep Intervention

Meaning

Pre-Sleep Intervention describes the strategic application of behavioral, nutritional, or pharmacological modulators in the period immediately preceding the initiation of sleep, specifically designed to optimize the nocturnal hormonal environment and enhance the architecture of sleep. These interventions are clinically employed to manage factors such as late-evening cortisol spikes, poor thermoregulation, or neurotransmitter imbalances that compromise the transition into restorative sleep phases. The objective is to facilitate a swift entry into the Deep Sleep Window and maximize Nightly Biological Reconstruction.
