Post-HRT Symptoms

Meaning

Post-HRT Symptoms refer to the collection of physiological and psychological manifestations that can emerge or re-emerge in an individual following the cessation of Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) or Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT). These symptoms are often the result of the body’s endogenous endocrine system struggling to resume adequate hormone production or adjust to the sudden withdrawal of exogenous hormones. Clinically, this requires a thoughtful, supportive tapering and transition strategy.
