Physiological Set Point Recalibration

Meaning

Physiological Set Point Recalibration is the intentional clinical process of shifting the body’s established homeostatic reference ranges for key variables, such as basal body temperature, insulin sensitivity, or hormone levels, to a more optimal functional position. This is necessary when the body’s natural set point has drifted due to chronic stress or aging, leading to suboptimal function. We are resetting the internal thermostat to a better operating condition. This requires a systematic approach to endocrine control.
