Physiological Performance Metrics

Meaning

Physiological Performance Metrics are a set of quantifiable, objective measurements used to assess the functional capacity and efficiency of key biological systems within the human body, extending beyond traditional clinical markers of disease. These metrics provide a dynamic, real-time picture of an individual’s vitality, recovery status, and adaptive reserve, offering a much deeper insight than static blood tests alone. Examples include heart rate variability (HRV), continuous glucose monitoring data, mitochondrial function assays, and advanced body composition analysis.
