Physiological Equity

Meaning

Physiological Equity is the clinical and ethical goal of ensuring that every individual, regardless of their background, socio-economic status, or genetic predisposition, has fair and equal access to the necessary resources and personalized interventions required to achieve and maintain their optimal hormonal and metabolic function. This concept recognizes that health disparities are often rooted in systemic inequities that affect exposure to environmental stressors, access to advanced diagnostics, and the ability to implement complex wellness protocols. Achieving equity requires a targeted approach to care that actively seeks to mitigate the physiological impact of these external determinants on the endocrine system.
