Physiological Data Abstraction

Meaning

Physiological Data Abstraction is the complex process of converting raw, high-volume biological and biometric measurements collected from clinical tests or wearable devices into simplified, clinically actionable insights about the functional state of the human body. This process involves filtering out noise, normalizing data across different measurement modalities, and applying analytical models to derive meaningful health indicators, such as a single “Hormonal Stress Score” from multiple cortisol and HRV readings. The goal is to translate complex physiological reality into a clear, understandable metric for both the clinician and the patient.
