Physiological Concentration

Meaning

Physiological Concentration refers to the range of a specific molecule, such as a hormone, neurotransmitter, or nutrient, that is naturally and normally present in the circulation or target tissue of a healthy individual. This concentration is essential for maintaining homeostatic balance and eliciting the appropriate biological response. Dosing outside this range, either too high or too low, can lead to systemic dysfunction.
