Physiological Clock Management

Meaning

Physiological Clock Management is the clinical practice of monitoring, assessing, and therapeutically modulating the various intrinsic biological timing systems within the body, collectively known as the circadian rhythm and biological clocks. This discipline focuses on synchronizing these internal clocks with external cues, such as light, food intake, and activity, to optimize hormonal secretion patterns and metabolic function. Effective management is critical because desynchronization, or chronodisruption, accelerates aging and contributes to metabolic and endocrine disorders. The goal is to restore robust, phase-appropriate rhythmic function to all biological processes.
