Physiological Age Estimation

Meaning

Physiological Age Estimation is the clinical determination of an individual’s biological age based on the functional status and molecular markers of their organ systems, rather than their chronological years. This estimation is derived from a composite analysis of biomarkers such as telomere length, epigenetic methylation patterns, and key metabolic and hormonal profiles. A physiological age lower than chronological age indicates successful health management and a slower rate of biological senescence.
