Performance Lifespan Extension

Meaning

The clinical and therapeutic goal of increasing the duration of time during which an individual maintains high-level physical, cognitive, and sexual function, effectively compressing the period of age-related decline and morbidity. This extends the ‘healthspan’ component of life, allowing a person to remain vigorous and functionally independent for a longer time. It is a core outcome measure in advanced longevity and hormonal medicine.
