Patient-Reported Outcomes

Meaning

Patient-Reported Outcomes (PROs) are any reports of the status of a patient’s health condition that come directly from the patient, without interpretation by a clinician or anyone else. These subjective, yet critical, data points include information on symptoms, functional status, quality of life, and treatment satisfaction. Integrating PROs with objective clinical biomarkers provides a holistic view of the individual’s hormonal health journey, ensuring that therapeutic success is defined not just by lab values but also by the patient’s lived experience.
