Osteoblastogenesis

Meaning

Osteoblastogenesis refers to the fundamental biological process through which undifferentiated mesenchymal stem cells commit to the osteoblastic lineage and subsequently differentiate into mature osteoblasts. These specialized cells are primarily responsible for the synthesis and mineralization of the bone matrix, forming new bone tissue. This cellular transformation is essential for skeletal development, growth, and continuous bone repair.
